Sedo holds the buyer's payment securely in escrow until the domain transfer to the buyer's account is fully confirmed, then releases the funds to us. Neither party is exposed to financial risk at any point.

No. Every domain listed on this site is owned directly by us. We do not broker or list domains on behalf of third parties. This means you deal with a single, accountable owner from the first inquiry to the final transfer.

Always ensure payments go through the Sedo.com escrow. Never send direct bank transfers or personal payments outside of Sedo's escrow process. Sedo's system ensures that domain transfer only begins after payment is confirmed and secured.

No account registration is required on our website. You only need to fill in the inquiry form. However, a Sedo.com account is required to complete the escrow transaction. Sedo accounts are free to create.

We typically respond within 24 hours. Delays due to time zone differences or weekends may occasionally extend this to 48 hours.

Domains marked as "Ask Price" or "Contact for Price" are open to negotiation. Domains with a fixed price listed are firm at that price. Reasonable offers are always welcome.

All payments are processed through Sedo.com's escrow service. Sedo accepts credit cards, PayPal, and bank wire transfers. When making a bank transfer, always include the invoice number or domain name as a reference to avoid delays.

As a buyer, you pay only the agreed domain price. Sedo's marketplace commission (typically 10–20% of the transaction value) is covered by the seller. There are no hidden fees charged to buyers.

There are no additional fees for the transfer itself. After the domain is transferred, your chosen registrar will charge an annual renewal fee, which varies by registrar and domain extension (.com, .co.kr, etc.).

We offer two transfer methods depending on the situation:

① Authorization Code (EPP) Transfer: We provide the EPP/auth code and you submit it to your registrar of choice to initiate the transfer. Works with any ICANN-accredited registrar.

② Sedo Push Transfer (Faster): The domain is pushed directly to your registrar account (e.g. GoDaddy) via Sedo's internal system. No code required. Typically completed within 24–48 hours after payment confirmation.

Sedo Push: 24–48 hours after payment confirmation (fastest option).
Authorization Code Transfer: 5–7 business days depending on the registrar. Domain operations (website, email) are generally unaffected during this period.

For the authorization code method, any ICANN-accredited registrar is supported (GoDaddy, Namecheap, Whois, Gabia, etc.). For Sedo push transfers, both parties need active Sedo accounts, and the receiving registrar must support Sedo push.

In most cases, no. DNS records are generally preserved through the transfer, so existing websites and email services continue to function. We recommend verifying your DNS settings at the new registrar once the transfer is complete.

Your inquiry details (name, email, and offer price) are received via email only and are never stored in any server or database. This information is used solely for handling your inquiry and is permanently deleted after the transaction is completed or if no transaction proceeds. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
